G.R. Tabacaleras Unidas, the Brainchild of Guillermo Rico
was founded in 1995. Rico, a third generation master blender, cigar manufacturer and tobacco leaf grower from Colombia, migrated to the United States with his your family in 1988. Within a few years of hard work, he was able to establish himself in the tobacco industry by brokering tobacco leaf at the beginning of te cigar boom on the late 1990's. Business was so great he had the opportunity to open G.R. Tabacaleras Unidas in Danli, Honduras in 1995.
